  • Murudeshwar Temple: Murdeshwar, a town in Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. Murdeshwar is another name of the Hindu god Shiva. Famous for the world's second-tallest Shiva statue, the town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murdeshwar Temple. Murdeshwar has a railway station on the Mangalore-Mumbai Konkan railway route.

  • Netrani Island: Netrani Island is one of the best places in India for Scuba diving. Being a coral island, the area is perfectly suited for snorkeling and scuba diving.

  • Murudeshwar Beach: Sandwiched between the sea and a river, this beach is home to the giant Shiva statue. Although water sports are not available here, tourists indulge in swimming, and a calm walk on the beach.
